Sell

Sell us your gently-used clothing, accessories, and select toys for 25% of the resale value in cash.

Trade

Store credit for 40% of the resale value on traded-in items can be used the same day as your selling slot or toward a future purchase.

Selling Guidelines

  • We accept items in excellent condition- free from holes, tears, stains, or other noticeable wear. A helpful rule of thumb: would you purchase an item you’re selling in its current condition? If not, we probably won’t be able to accept it.

  • Our approach to resale is holistic. We’re thoughtful about what you wear, which is why we prioritize natural fibers such as cotton, linen, wool, bamboo, and silk. While we do accept items made with semi-synthetic fabrics, we rarely intake pieces made from polyester—except in the case of outerwear and select trending styles.

  • Inventory selection is based on current store needs. If we are already well-stocked in a specific category, we may decline items in that category even if they otherwise meet our selling criteria.

  • We prioritize unique and hard-to-find items. Brands like Target, Shein, Temu, Forever 21, Old Navy or other similar labels are not eligible for our buy-sell-trade program as they are easy to find in donation based thrift stores.

  • We buy inventory on a seasonal basis. We are currently intaking pre-fall styles. (Check out our Instagram @loop_losangeles for inspiration!)

  • We do not buy formal wear or professional business attire.

  • Please note: you must be 18 years or older to sell with us.

Does The Loop Resale offer consignment?

We are not a consignment store and do not offer a consignment program. All inventory is purchased out-right and upfront from the customers who sell with us.

Does The Loop Resale buy-out luxury items?

Generally, we do not buy luxury items (with some exceptions made on a case-by-case basis.)
